Terms of Service

Last updated August 24, 2026

Agreeing to these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and Sendly. By making an account or using Sendly, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.

What Sendly is

Sendly is a tool for building a digital card — messages, photos, videos, voice recordings, and small interactive surprises — and sharing it as a single link that opens on any device. We may add, change, or retire features as the product develops.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 13 years old to use Sendly.
  • Give us an email address you actually control, and keep your password to yourself.
  • Anything done through your account is your responsibility. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into it.

The cards you make

Your content stays yours. Sendly claims no ownership of the words, photos, videos, or recordings you put in a card.

To actually run the service, you give us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, and display that content — for one purpose only: building your card, showing it to whoever opens the link, and showing it back to you. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies sitting in routine backups.

What you may not put in a card

You are responsible for what goes into your cards. Do not use Sendly to share:

  • Anything illegal, or anything that encourages someone else to break the law.
  • Someone else's private photos, videos, or recordings without their permission.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content meant to humiliate someone.
  • Sexual content involving minors, in any form.
  • Impersonation of another person or brand.
  • Work that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
  • Malware, phishing, scams, or bulk unsolicited messaging.

We can remove a card that breaks these rules and suspend the account behind it, without notice where the content is seriously harmful.

Paying for a card

  • One card, one payment. Publishing a card costs a one-time fee in US dollars. The price is shown before you pay, and a valid promo code may reduce or waive it.
  • Stripe handles the money. Paying also means accepting Stripe's terms for that transaction.
  • Refunds. A card is delivered digitally the moment it publishes, so payments are normally final. If something went wrong on our end — you were charged twice, the card never published, the link never worked — email us within 30 days and we will put it right.

How long a card stays up

We intend for a published card link to keep working, and we will give reasonable notice before discontinuing the service or making links stop resolving. That said, Sendly is not an archive: keep your own copies of photos, videos, and recordings that matter to you.

The service is provided as it is

Sendly is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind — express or implied — and we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your content will never be lost.

Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Sendly is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost data or lost profits. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid Sendly in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusions above — in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

Ending things

You can stop using Sendly whenever you like, and you can ask us to delete your account by emailing sendlycard@outlook.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. The sections on your content licence, disclaimers, and liability survive after an account ends.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Sendly changes. The new version goes up here with a fresh date at the top, and continuing to use Sendly after that means you accept it. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app first.
